JULIE, Inc. is an organization which coordinates the location of underground utilities prior to the commencement of construction projects requiring excavation.

A major element of this building is a 24 hour call center where operators communicate with a wide variety of contractors, utilities and municipalities. The design placed this 40 workstation area near the center of the plan with a computer room, training area and conference rooms nearby. The perimeter of the plan included the administrative offices and data systems and computer offices. A large lunch room and outdoor terrace is also located near the call center.

Special attention was given to color selection and natural lighting in order to provide a pleasant working environment. The building has face brick exterior walls with aluminum windows and an asphalt shingle roof. Interior finishes include carpet, ceramic tile, vinyl wall covering and acoustical tile ceilings. The building has an emergency power generator and a gated secure parking area.
