NEW LENOX SENIOR HOUSING

The New Lenox Township Senior Housing Building is a  three-story building with 24 individual apartments and a lower level. There is a mix of one and two bedroom units, each of which has a living room, dining area and patio or balcony. The kitchens and bathrooms of each unit have been designed to be adaptable to meet ADA guidelines for the tenants that may require special needs. All of the apartments are served mechanically by individual units and have a locked storage area in the lower level. Each of the resident floors is equipped with laundry facilities and a lounge area for quiet small gatherings.

The building has a secure entry with access to a lower level community room serviced by its own elevator location in the main lobby. A secure elevator for tenant use and stairways connects all levels of the building.

The 10,250 square foot building was completed in 2003 at a cost of $3.3 million.
