SAINT PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH Saint Paul Lutheran Church was designed to replace a smaller and older church located across the street from their existing fellowship hall and educational building. The church was planned to connect to the existing buildings and provide a sanctuary for 275 worshipers, a music/choir area in a balcony, a large narthex, library, meeting room and offices. The sanctuary may be expanded on each side of the chancel to provide additional seating. The use of the laminated wood arches created a space reminiscent of the former church and provided a focus on the chancel area. The 11,600 square foot building was completed in 1996 at a cost of $1.3 million. |
